“ Best JJ from the Midwest to the PNW. That old man knows what he is doing. Straight fire and consistent. Food has been ready when he says it will be. Visted here dozens of times. I get the catfish dinner, fried hard with lemon pepper. Large portions of good-looking catfish filets. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft, flaky, and moist on the inside. Perfect every time. Never burnt, never hard. It is hot and steamy. If food is kept in the container too long, the batter may get more soft than desired. Needs to be eaten soon as it is ready. Had a small issue one time. He fixed it quickly. It's not even worth mentioning. Highly recommend. ”

It was ready in 15 minutes as promised, the food was hot & fresh, and they gave me ketchup, barbecue, tartar, & hot sauce. The fish was my favorite but the chicken was very good as well. The fries, bread and slaw are what you'd expect to complement the delicious meats. I'm a sandwich lover so I put a bit of everything on the bread and loved it.
